2024: A YEAR IN REVIEW

As I sit down to reflect on 2024, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of pride and gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve had at Apex Energies this year. I’m Ronelle Sinclair, and this year has been nothing short of transformative – challenging, yes, but also filled with moments that reminded me why I love what I do.  

 We began the year with a bold new name but without the identity to match it. Our sites were unbranded, our vision still forming, and our team ready to step into uncharted territory. It felt a bit like starting over – exciting and terrifying (and a little familiar) all at once. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that big challenges often bring out the best in people. And wow, did we rise to the occasion.  

Culture has been at the heart of everything we’ve done this year. It’s not something you can write into a manual or pin to a wall; it’s something we create together every single day. I often think of it like a family totem, passed down and carried by everyone who works here. This year, that sense of shared ownership has been our secret ingredient.  

And what a year it’s been! 

• We’ve doubled our volumes, proving what’s possible when we all pull in the same direction. 
• We’ve added two new sites, making Apex Energies an even bigger part of our communities. 
• We’ve launched our convenience shop and car wash brands, bringing new life and energy to the Apex name. 
• And, perhaps most visibly, we’re 70% of the way through a nationwide rebrand, transforming our sites into vibrant, welcoming spaces that reflect who we truly are.

But the numbers and milestones only tell part of the story. The real story of 2024 is one of people. It’s about the incredible team that showed up every day with passion and determination, even when the road got tough. It’s about the moments of laughter, the late nights, and the shared belief that we can build something extraordinary together.  

As we look ahead to 2025, I feel a familiar mix of excitement and possibility. There’s still so much more to do, and I know the challenges will keep coming. But with the team we have, I’m confident that we can handle anything.
